To do this the System Pilot should be the default controller. 4

Go to the programming screen select CONFIG to change the communication mode. A new screen will appear. Select PILOTCON. PILOTCON 5

The System Pilot require that the Communication mode be set. Here are the two ways to set the system pilot. Is the Communication Bus setup. For this the System Pilot mode is set to CCN Is the Local or direct connection setup. For this the system Pilot is set to Local. Exercise 1 set up System Pilot. 6

This means that the address is known. The system pilot does not do a bus scan. If the system pilot is attached to a zone controller that is set up as a Linkage Coordinator, then that controller can do a bus scan. Select ATTACH. From this screen the system pilot can change the address of the device that the system pilot is attached to. If any information is change on this screen and you try to escape there will be a “Save data? YES NO ESC” statement at the bottom of the screen. YES 8
