Becoming king Henry became king after his dad died. He became king at 17 years old. Shortly before his dad died his brother Arthur died. He became king in 1709.
Henry’s family Henry lived with his mum Elizabeth of York and his dad was Henry VII. His brother was Prince Arthur of Wales.
