Scientific Notation Exponent Unit
Definition A method of writing or displaying numbers in terms of a decimal number between 1 and 10, multiplied by a power of 10.
Expanded Form To expand numbers in scientific notation: * move the decimal to the right if the exponent is positive * move the decimal to the left if the exponent is negative
