Competitors and Risks We have numerous competitors in the bookselling space. Our biggest risk is that a competitor will choose to copy our business model. Our key barrier to entry relative to the triple bottom line space we now occupy is continuing to expand rapidly, so there will be less incentive for a competitor to enter.

We are at an important inflection point in terms of profitability and funding future growth Requesting $2,000,000 in additional funding to: Build our brand identity and brand awareness Increase acquisitions of both new and used books, to allow us to continue to grow aggressively Expand bin donation program—which will have the three-pronged impact of increasing our inventory of books, building our brand awareness, and increasing our customer base as book donors learn about us and become book purchasers Continue to invest in technology which allows us to provide superior customer service and support best practices in inventory management
