Grading Policy I always accept late work not daily HW assignments (only worth 1-3 points) There will be a penalty on late work Assignments will be marked in PowerSchool (late or missing) if it applies = assignment was collected Grades are earned by total accumulated points Please have students check my webpage to keep up on work if they miss class
Honors Criteria Student Placed in Honors using the following information: NWEA RIT scores Placement Essay Team Observation Checklist All students placed in the Honors ELA must maintain at least a letter grade of a C each term. Placement in the Honors ELA class is not guaranteed every year; students will be re- evaluated every year. The tasks that honors students complete go above and beyond or are completely redesigned
