Winter Olympics Ski jumping

General History Since 1896 the Olympic games have been held in various countries around the world like Chamonix, Lake Placed, Calgary, Ampezzo, and Salt Lake City. Some have even been consoled from world war II. This years is held in Vancouver.

motto Olympians have a motto that is this: Citius, Alius, Fortius. It is Latin for Swifter, Higher, Stronger. They say that because that is exactly what they want to be in the Olympics.

flame Months before the games are held the flame is lit on a torch. When the torch is taken out of Greece it is often to be taken around the contrary where the games are held.
