Szekszárd a ClimatE-friendly City 11.-12. October 2016.

Szekszárd Population: 33 032 inhabitant Area : 96,28 km² Basically an agricultural town, wine region Nearly 6000 farmhouse 4500 wine cellars

Beginning In February,2009 the city join to the Climate - Friendly Communities Association, it was decided by the city’s General Assembly Commitment : Prepare climate strategy Payment of the membership fee Hire climate coordinator - Zöldtárs Alapítvány (Green Partner Foundation) Creation of climate fund (1 million HUF/year = 3 600$ ) Come about climate group in June in 2009 - The goal is to realization of the strategy
