Usecase 4: Manual Data Import & Calculation of EnPI Establishing a Joint Venture Energy Management System DIN EN 16001 / ISO 50001
Scenario Previous Exercises JEVis Live System basics Open an analysis Create own analysis Task Import data manually and create a calculation Preconditions JEVis Monitoring System with data
Steps Log-in into JEVis System Create Energy Node Manual Energy Data Import Create Mass Node Manual Mass Data Import Create EnPl Node Create Calculation Visualization of EnPl
1) Log-in to the JEVis System Start JEConfig and log-in On JEVis Live System: Online via My-JEVis: user name: Admin your own log-in data password: jevislive
2) Create New Nodes Add nodes for 2 Input data rows: Main Electricity Meter (energy) Production Output (mass) Add node for 1 Output data row: EnPI* (result of calculation) * Energy Performance Indicator
2) Create Energy Node Click New Property → Float → Physical → Energy
2) Create Energy Online Node Click New → Datasource → Online
2) Create Energy Online Node The data will be imported manually → almost no settings have to be made Important: “Differential” is set to “true” Uncheck “Create PrecalcCleaner DS”
3) Manual Energy Data Import Time Zone ! Format: “dd-MM-yyyy HH:mm:ss”;”Value” → First day of the month at 00:00:00 → Value in W and as decimal
3) Manual Energy Data Import The input form provides a simple way to enter data manually Example data "01-01-2012 00:00:00";"300000.00" "01-02-2012 00:00:00";"320000.00" "01-03-2012 00:00:00";"340000.00" "01-04-2012 00:00:00";"290000.00" "01-05-2012 00:00:00";"350000.00" "01-06-2012 00:00:00";"280000.00" "01-07-2012 00:00:00";"285000.00" "01-08-2012 00:00:00";"310000.00" "01-09-2012 00:00:00";"350000.00" "01-10-2012 00:00:00";"340000.00" "01-11-2012 00:00:00";"320000.00" "01-12-2012 00:00:00";"275000.00"
4) Create Mass Node Click New Property → Float → Physical → Quantity
4) Create Mass Online Node Click New → Datasource → Online
5) Manual Mass Data Import → Value in t → pay attention to use identical time stamps
5) Manual Mass Data Import The input form provides a simple way to enter data manually Example data "01-01-2012 00:00:00";"262.00" "01-02-2012 00:00:00";"298.00" "01-03-2012 00:00:00";"292.00" "01-04-2012 00:00:00";"385.00" "01-05-2012 00:00:00";"388.00" "01-06-2012 00:00:00";"370.00" "01-07-2012 00:00:00";"405.00" "01-08-2012 00:00:00";"298.00" "01-09-2012 00:00:00";"262.00" "01-10-2012 00:00:00";"298.00" "01-11-2012 00:00:00";"300.00" "01-12-2012 00:00:00";"400.00"
6) Create EnPI Node Click New Property → Float → Physical → Energy per ton
6) Create EnPI Online Node Click New → Datasource → Online
7) Create Calculation Calculation is child node of “My Company” Click New → Object → Data Gateway → GenericCalc Set JobStatus to “CALCULATE” Uncheck “Create PrecalcCleaner DS”
7) Create Calculation Your Registry should look like this:
7) Create Calculation In the following steps you need The Online Node ID of Main Electricity Meter for Energy Data The Online Node ID of Production Output for Mass Data The Online Node ID of EnPI for EnPI Data Note the IDs from the Registry
7) Create Calculation Define Inputs INPUT var=ID; Define Output OUTPUT ID=var; Divisions in Octave Take care of using the ./ operation for matrices
7) Create Calculation Use the IDs of your data structure! Save everything with the blue disc button Set JobStatus to “FETCH”
Force Recalculation Onto the JEVis Live System you have to start the calculation of data by click on the icons shown below: Run JEJobMaster for fetching data and calculation of Octave code Run JECalc for calculation of clean data
JEVis Live System Start JEGraph
JEGraph Login Type your User in the Username field Type your Password in the Password field Additional Features The log-in dialogue entering of the server address. JEVis is multilingual. Select your language from the drop down box
8) Visualization of EnPI Close the “load analysis” dialogue Choose Analysis → new → JEChart
8) Visualization of EnPI Select “EnPI” data row from the Registry where you saved it Always select the last year as time period
8) Visualization of EnPI
Conclusion JEVis supports calculations in MatLAB / Octave syntax JEConfig provides csv and manual data import Calculations start automatically on server based JEVis Systems
