Book Reports

Children’s Library In Star Center Free to check out books Must return books in ONE week

Choosing Books The books all have different levels, from 100 to 1800 You should understand 90-95% of the words If there are more than two or three words that you don’t understand, go down 50 points

Book Reports This semester you must read FOUR books from the Children’s Library and write FOUR book reports You can read these books at any time until week 15 You can e-mail me a book report any time beckyjju@gmail.com

Book Reports All book reports must have: A picture of you and the book Title of the book and author’s name At least five sentences in English describing what happens in the book Two or three sentences giving your personal opinion of the book

Example Title: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Author: J.K. Rowling In this book, Harry, Ron, and Hermione fight Voldemort. They don’t go to school while they’re fighting him. They have to find all the Horcruxes to kill Vodemort. Many people die, including my favorite character, Professor Snape. At the end they are all adults and have children. I didn’t like this book because Professor Snape died. I wish Rowling hadn’t killed him. He was the most interesting character in my opinion.

E-Mail Do NOT attach the book report! Please type the book report in the e-mail. I can’t read all the attachments, so if you don’t type the book report inside the e-mail you might get 0 points. Attaching the picture is usually ok. You must also write: Your name and your class name. If you don’t do this you might get 0 points!
