All about me Hi my is joy I in the 6th grade at united local. And I like to play basketball I play forward position. I like act in play I been in 3 plays. I also in united band I play the flute. I also like to watch anime my favorite anime is princess tutu.

Journal entries 3 A couple of day ago we have a assembly for space camp. Are teacher for reading/social study was hosting the assembly she talk about what she did at space camp. She went on a ride 5 degrees freedom chair, multi-axis chair, zero gravity seat. we talk about space shuttles and there are 5 space shuttles made. There are Columbia, challenger, Atlantis, discovery, and endeavor. But there are 2 shuttles that are destroy challenger, and discovery. And this what the teacher did at the space camp assembly. I chose this for entries 3 because I remember I like watching that assembly and I remember she brought cool stuff she got and learn more about space.

Fall is… by joy A time to see leave into there beautiful colors and to see them fall. A time for spending time with you friends and family. A time for jumping into those big piles of leaves. At time to find that perfect pumpkin to carved. A time for smiling and laughing and having fun. A time for give thanks at thanksgiving. To me this is what I think fall is.

Look at me as a reader Well reading habit I have is I like reading long books with those big pages books. And me favorite genres are fantasy because it has unicorns and talking animal and stuff that not real.

Look me as a writer My writing habits are writing fast and always skipping over words. My favorite writing is a letter because it a good way to write to friends.

A Song for bijou by josh Farrar A song for bijou is about a Haitian girl name bijou move to American after a great disaster happen in Haiti's. And she go to boarding for girl with this mean girl. And is not aloud to got anywhere but school. And there is Alex side of the story he see Bijou in a restaurant call peas and pickle and when her saw her he fall in love. I think it a cute story because when Bijou is not aloud to see Alex they hang out anyway.

Save me a seat Save me a seat is about Ravi just move to America from India and he was the most popular kid at his old school when he move to America everything is turn the other way around he get pick on by the popular kids mostly dillon , he got to take speech class and he has no friends. And there is Joe he bin to Albert Einstein since kindergarten but he also go to the same class as Ravi for shyness . He also bin pick on by dillion. We they both became friend or not. For this book it ok but I though Ravi and Joe would team up and defeat dillion.

Destined to live by Ruth gruener Destined to live is about Ruth being in hiding from the Nazi solider during world war ll and the Nazi solder are killing Jews Ruth must go into hiding so she does not get kill. So if you guess it she survive so she can tell her story. And she get married to I think jack gruener who also was hiding from the Nazi. I thought this book was really boring but I still kind of like it.

I am Malala by Malala yousafzal I am Malala is about Malala Yousafzal how she stood up to the Taliban and stand up for women right to learn. One night when she was coming home for school a Taliban stop the school bus and shot her in the head. I really like this book because she stood up for are women right for learn and she was really brave to stand up for women learning.

On my honor by Marion Dane Bauer On my honor is about Joel friend name Tony drown when the broke the rule of only riding there bikes and they went swimming in the Vermilion River. And Joel is terrified to tell people what really happen and his guilt of what happen. This book is ok it is sad what had happen to Joel friend Tony.

The cay by Theodore Taylor The cay is about Philip when submarines bomb the ship that Philip he get hit in the head by one of the piece of the boat and he get pull in the raff. When Philip woke up he found out he was pull on a raff with a black men name Timothy and a cat.. When Timothy and Philip were are the water Philip went blind because of the piece of the boat. When Timothy and Philip were on the water for a couple of day Timothy saw a island a mile or two away. They went this little island which it is a cay. When they were are the cay they build a hut, Timothy teach Philip to fish and do stuff on the cay. And one day Timothy got malaria or he got sick and he run into the ocean. They were on the island for months there was a hurricane and after the hurricane Timothy die. And Philip was only with stew cat. Philip stay on the cay for a couple more months. And a helicopter fly by and Philip signal the helicopter with this fruit and a couple day later and ski boat came to save Philip and brought him back to his family . And then Philip got three eye check up and they found out what was wrong and Philip got his eye sight but he would have to were glass for now on. I like the cay because it cool he they how they survive on the island for that many month .

Island of the blue dolphins by Scott o’ dell Island of the blue dolphins is about a girl name Karana and after her village trusted the Aleuts. She go onto a canoe and with some villager and the white man ship. When she turn around she see her brother is still on the island and so she jump out of the canoe and swim back to the island. And the next night her brother went down to the canoe and a pack of wild dog kill her brother. On that day Karana said “ she would kill all the wild dogs”. One day she took one of the canoe and try to sail to the place the village went but then she realized that the wood was leaking so she headed back to the island. Then one day when she was trying to kill the wild dog she shot the leader of the wild dog but then she heal the dog wound and the dog became her friend and she name him Rontu. Then she begins to take care of birds and she clip there wings and the birds became her friend.one day the Aleuts ship came back and she hide in a cay so the Aleuts hunters would not find her. One day when she was in her cay the Aleut girl spotted her and her name was Tutok at first Karana hated her but then Tutok and her became friends and then Tutok have to leave with Aleuts and she ask Karana to come with her but she said no. And more year past a different ship and took Karana with them and then she was not alone. My feeling for the book was amazing I really like this one to because it super sad and adventures

Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt Tuck everlasting is about Winnie Foster decide to run away to a father until she see a boy in the wood . And then she talk to the boy name Jessie and Mae saw Winnie talking to Jessie. And Jessie told Winnie he was 147 year old but he look like he was 17 year old. The Mae and Jessie kidnapped Winnie so she could help them find why they are still living. I like this book it make it feel magical and adventures.

Year in review This year has bin the best year of my life are basketball team has won like ever game. I got to be in a united bullying skit. I love reading when we got to do lit circles. And in math I like adding. And my teachers was the nice teachers I ever have.
