TOKYO Japan’s capital

The city and its people With a population that exceeds 36 million people, it is subdivided into 23 neighborhoods. It is the largest city in the world, and the most exciting. Cultural and political center of the third world economy, from the Akihabara area, the electronics and otaku culture district, to the traditional Asakusa neighborhood

Money and business Tokyo’s coin is the yen. The people earns the highest salaries, and they spend the most money. They wear the latest fashions. Tokyo’s coin is the yen.

Buildings The highest structure in the prefecture is Tokyo Sky Tree, a lattice tower rising 634 m The architecture is very modern because of the Secon World War and other reasons. But traditional Japan is always near, as the Sanctuary Yasukuni

History Tokyo was originally a small fishing village called Edo. There were landowner, and according to their traditions, Youkais (monsters) that attacked the villages.

Climate Tokyo is on the east coast of Japan. The summers are hot and humid. In the spring, cherry blossoms bloom and make a pink show before our eyes.

Transport The different lines of metro, train and bus efficiently communicate all areas of the Japanese capital. There are cheap and fast.
