Some children go to church on Christmas Eve.

Children hang stockings at the end of their beds or above the fireplace for Santa (Sion Corn) to fill. They leave carrots and mince pies for Santa and Rudolph.

Most children share their Christmas with family, enjoying time with Grandparents .

For Christmas dinner most Welsh families eat vegetables (especially sprouts), turkey, gravy, stuffing, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets and cranberry sauce.

It travels from farm to farm, taking part in poetry competitions. The Mari is believed to bring good luck to the houses it visits.
