2-18 Study Skills Learning Target: I will review adjectives. I will practice identifying adjectives. An ADJECTIVE modifies a noun or a pronoun. There are two main ways that adjectives can be used, as PREDICATE ADJECTIVES and as MODIFYING ADJECTIIVES.

If the word really is a predicate adjective, it will still be a correct sentence. Example: The day was hot. The day was VERY hot.
