Information for virtual participants Click "Connect Audio" and choose the appropriate option: “I Will Call In” if you wish to use a separate phone; “Call Using Computer” if you wish to use you computer’s speakers and microphone. If you see a black pop-up window that says “It looks like you have a camera. Do you want to turn it on now?”, select “Not now”. Switch off your microphone at all times by selecting the “Participants” tab and pressing the microphone button so that it is RED not black. Otherwise you will be heard over the classroom speakers and we will experience feedback. Switch off your camera at all times by selecting the "Participants" tab and pressing the video button next to your name so that it is BLACK not green. Otherwise you will be seen on the classroom screen. If you wish to ask a question, please send a chat message to the "UNAVCO Services" user only. Do not send messages directly any other user or "Everyone”. One of the workshop leaders will assess and collate similar questions and we will answer them at the end of the lecture or the earliest convenient time. We will have a hand-held microphone in the classroom. In-person participants will use the microphone to ask questions so that virtual participants can hear them. hello
