What Questions Do You have About the INfoExpress Courier? I’m going to give you an update on how InfoExpress is doing. While I’m talking we encourage you to use one of the 3x5 cards that are currently being passed around to write down any questions you have about the service. When you are done, hold your card up and Mike Hicks and Jill Black will collect them and we will answer all of the questiosn we have time for. I’ll take the easy ones and give Nick the hard ones. Any questions that we don’t get to today, will be sent out to the INfoExpress list serve.

The courier service we know today as InfoExpress has been around for a while. Originally, it was know as INCOLSA Wheels and was run through the INCOLSA operation with the funding provided by the Indiana State Library

I N FO EXPRESS A Program of the Indiana State Library Infoexpress.IN.gov FO EXPRESS About 7 years ago, the State Library took the operation back in house where Mike Hicks has been managing it ever since. New Public Library Standards Minimum standards for public libraries 590 IAC 6-1-5 (aa): “Libraries shall participate in the statewide delivery service managed by the Indiana state library with a minimum of one (1) day per week of service for each two thousand (2,000) packages shipped or received per year, based on the previous year's total volume.” Old Standards Class A Libraries Minimum 3 Days Class B Libraries Minimum 2 Days Class C Libraries Minimum 1 Day Other libraries ???? If you are not with a public library, you might think that this doesn’t apply to your library, but you would be wrong.
