Organisms An organism is a living thing Plants and animals are organisms. All organisms have cells.

Plants Cells Cells are the building blocks of life. Plant cells have nucleus, chloroplast cell membrane, cell wall, and cytoplasm.

Parts of a plant The parts of a plant is the roots, stem, and leaves. The roots are the part of the plant that ceaps the plant underground. All plants have a stem the stem helps the plant stay upright . The plant has leaves the leaves are the part that take in sunlight.

Roots Roots take in water and minerals from the soil. The roots help hold the plant underground. Roots are the plant part that grows underground.

Why People need plants to survive People need plants to survive to get oxagen. To get food to survived rom the plants. The plants we need we get a lot from them.

Stem The stem carries water/minerals from the roots. The stem helps the plant stay upright. Carries food from the leaves to the other parts. The stem is the plant part that supports the plant.

Leaves The leaves take in sunlight. All leaves are the main food making part of the plant Leaves use a gas from the air - carbon dioxide. The leaves use the suns energy +carbon dioxide + water to make food. Leaves have chlorophyll which traps energy from the sunlight.

A Plants Life First the plant starts as a seed Then it will sprout. After that it's a adult plant. Then it grows flowers. Finally it is a plant. And then it will happen all again.

Conifers Conifers are trees that produce seeds in cones. Pine trees and spruce trees are conifers.

Flowering plants Flowering plants are plants that produce seeds into flowers. Most plants in the world are flowering plants.
