Do Now – Quickwrite 3/20/17 Please read and write down the quote in your composition notebooks: “Potential has no zip code, income level, color, gender, disability or labels. Every student has potential and it should be the common denominator in all relationships.” What do you think the words common denominator means in this quote? Why would someone’s zip code affect one’s potential? If you had to choose which of those obstacles might be an issue for you? Why? (If you feel that none of those are an issue; think of something else that is constantly a obstacle for you.)
