Grammar 2 The Second Semester 2015-2016 Definite & Indefinite Articles Presented by Dr. Mohamed Sha’at

The objective of the Session Students are expected to: Revise the main topics that had been tackled during the previous lectures. Revise the questions of the midterm exam questions. use the definite and indefinite articles correctly.

The topics which had been tackled 1- How to describe purpose. 2- How to explain reason. 3- How to make contrast. 4- How to ask for information, to suggest something, and give advice. 5- We have discussed the different types of relative clauses and the different types of questions. 6- We have revised the introductory it and there. 7- Also the different prepositions have been revised.

The Questions of Midterm Exam - Invite students to answer the questions in pairs. Then evaluate their answers. The definite and indefinite articles - Discuss the rules of using the definite and indefinite articles. - Invite students to do the activities pp. 135, 137. - As an assignment students should do the activities pp. 138-140.
