Indefinite Articles A is used before the consonants sound. Ex; 1) a book 2) a crow 3) a table 4) a university An is used before the vowels sound. Ex: 1) an apple 2) an hour 3) an honest man 4) an old man

DEFINITE ARTICLES 1)‘The’ is used before the names of Oceans, sea, rivers. Pool. Ex: 1) The Ganga 2) The saraswati 3) the yamuna 2)The is used before the names of hills, mountains.
