Before moving to HoloLens , First of all we should know about "Windows Holographic" which is an augmented reality computing platform created by Microsoft that is set to be introduced in the Windows 10 operating system upon its release in 2015.

INTRODUCTION - Microsoft HoloLens is a smart-glasses headset that is a cordless, self-contained Windows 10 computer .

What it does ? Microsoft's HoloLens is not actually producing 3D images that everyone can see. As a HoloLens wearer, you'll still see the real world in front of you.

How it works ? Microsoft HoloLens features see through, holographic high definition lenses and spatial sounds so you can see and hear in the world around you. The goggles will track your movements, watch your gaze transform what you see by blasting light at your eyes.

Design- 1. Camera: The project HoloLens depth camera has a field of vision that spans 120 by 120 degrees. 2.Computer: As many as 18 sensors flood the brain of the device with terabytes of data every second.

3.Lenses: To trick your brain into perceiving holographic images, light particles bounce around millions of times in the so called light engine. 4.Sensors: Sensors track where the wearer is looking and adjust the display. 5.Vent: The device is more powerful than a laptop but wont overheat. On the right side. 6..Buttons: Allow you to adjust the volume and to control the contrast of the hologram

Features - TRANSFROM YOUR WORLD WITH HOLOGRAMS Microsoft HoloLens brings high-definition holograms to life in your world, where they integrate with your physical places, spaces, and things.

GO BEYOND THE SCREEN As holograms, your digital content will be as real as physical objects in the room. For the first time, holograms will become practical tools of daily life

A new reality Microsoft HoloLens is more than a simple heads- up display, and its transparency means you never lose sight of the world around you. High- definition holograms integrated with your real world will unlock all-new ways to create, work, communicate and play.

Empowering you to achieve more Microsoft HoloLens puts you at the center of a world that blends holograms with reality. Your digital content and creations will be more relevant when they come to life in the world around you.

New ways to create what you’ve imagine Use holograms to visualize how something will look in the physical world whether it’s a new piece of furniture in your home, a toy for your kids, or a new creation for work

New ways to teach and learn It’s easier to show than to tell, so do both. With Microsoft HoloLens , friends and colleagues can help you with difficult tasks using HoloNotes in skype .

Explore places you’ve never been Scientists at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory will soon be exploring Mars using holograms of Mars Rover images.

google glass vs HolOlens Microsoft's HoloLens and Google Glass both are headsets. But with its ability to respond to wearer’s voices, hands, and eyes, the HoloLens has a brighter future.

Advantages - No cords, no phones, no wires, no tethers. Hololens can be used in army battlefield. Transparent lens and advanced sensors allow you to see your world and move confidently in it. Lightweight and adjustable to fit any adult head size. Work and play comfortably.

My ideas for the development hololens A tool made more simple and familiar to use as regular glasses but have extraordinary capabilities.

Conclusion - Holographic computing experiences with Microsoft HoloLens are different from existing experiences, such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). The team is working with creators and developers all over the world on exciting new holographic experiences.  HoloLens looks incredibly exciting, but what we've seen so far is a glimpse into the future.

THANK YOU !!...
