June 2011-June 2012 Plan Charity Group confirmed policy of supporting children or education charities and also reaffirmed the policy of using only funds from the net proceeds of charity auctions and the Christmas Lunch raffle Also: BCCT should look at organizing charity visits possibly in conjunction with other BCCT events (GW/RJ) Offer members opportunities to teach at Thai schools as a charity activity (SL/RJ/GW) BCCT has traditionally made a charitable donation from BCCT funds (with members consulted) to mark HM The King's 12-year cycle birthdays. This year BCCT will donate to a charity using charity funds 'in recognition of HM The King's 7th Cycle Birthday‘ Assistance welcomed to secure more auction and raffle prizes (AA) Approach B Grimm for donations of tickets for events the company sponsors eg at the Thailand Cultural Centre (SL) Investigate how 'Books for Thailand' project run by Burin Kantabutra could be useful (SL) Sell Christmas Lunch raffle tickets at BCCT events in November and December (RJ) Try and secure tickets to the Singapore Grand Prix via the Singapore Tourist Board (GM) For auctions package together tickets to English Premier League games with hotel room nights and flights (GW)
