Finish Line Scholarship Criteria Started in 2014 to help students complete degrees Requires students to meet with an academic advisor Must provide a degree audit showing 12 credits or less to complete a degree Applies to Associate Degrees only Must be an in-state resident
College Bound Scholarship Criteria Started in 2014 for High School students Covers up to 7 AGEC credits per semester (28 credit limit) Requires students to meet with a guidance counselor Must have a 3.0 High School GPA (or placement test) Must be an in-state resident and at least 14 years old
Scholarship Outcomes Finish Line Scholarship Awarded $116,221 to 232 students Conferred 286 degrees College Bound Scholarship Awarded $218,356 to 331 students Conferred 227 certificates and degrees

Other Completion Initiatives Strategic Priority: Removing Barriers to Student Success HLC Persistence and Completion Academy: Proactive Advising for Student Success (PASS) SOAR for Employees Starfish Retention Management System
Starfish Retention Management System Early Alert/Early Warning System that allows us to identify students that are at risk Instructors use the system to track and document student performance System sends notifications to a student’s support network when there are concerns Students are contacted and directed to services – tutoring, library, writing centers, etc.
Project Phases sox Pilot Project completed in previous semesters Undergoing full implementation for all faculty Rollout to students expected in Fall 2017 Review and update student orientation – available online to dual enrollment students
