TIPS to HS Success Get involved in at least one after-school activity. INVOLVEMENT breeds a positive outlook and academic success. Use your resources & ask for HELP! Maintain an academic FOCUS. What you do today and tomorrow in your high school classes will impact you in 4-5 years. Maintain a BALANCE between school and personal life. Know your limits and realize when you may be taking on too much.

Where Can I Get Help? Resource Study Hall: Supervised by an Education Assistant. Needs administration/counselor approval. Math Resource Study Hall/Tutor: math teachers available every hour for support. ITI: Available for students with an IEP or a 504 plan. 1-on-1 assistance from individual teachers: Make personal contact to determine availability. Student Services: Meet with your counselor to discuss problems you may be having and brainstorm ideas for solutions.
