South American animals Research projects

Blue morpho butterflies by Emma Butterfly with brilliant blue wings in the tropical rainforest. They are one of the largest butterflies of the world with a wing of 5 to 8 inches. The blue butterfly has a life pan of 115 days.

Quetzal by tanyah These quetzal are about 14 inches. It lives in the mountains. The male has a colorful tail.

Ocelot by aytumn The ocelot weighs 18 to 40 pounds It is mostly nocturnal and will fight fiercely The ocelot also has very good vision including night vision

Sloth by Jordan They sleep up to 20 hours a day. They rarely come down from the trees. They weigh 8-17 lbs.
