1. Our response should be one of generosity “He scattered abroad, he gave to the poor, his righteousness endures forever.” – 2 Corinthians 9:9 God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Cor. 9:7, Romans 12:8) This generosity should not come from our leftovers. (Proverbs 3:9-10)

2. Our response to those in need should be to share “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.” – 2 Cor. 9:9 Luke 3:11, Matthew 25:35-36

3. Good deeds are remembered forever “Their good deeds will be remembered forever.” (NLT) “Their righteousness endures forever.” (NIV) A follower of Jesus puts that love into action because we are compelled by the love of Christ. (2 Cor. 5:14)
