Strategies for last minute preparations Read textbooks thoroughly Attempt CBSE sample papers. Treat them as real papers and finish them within 2 & 1/2 hours. Keep writing whatever you revise. Keep in touch with your teachers to discuss your weakness or any other problems you come across. Set your body clock right before exams. While preparing for exams, students tend to pay less attention to their health and body clock, but you must understand that to do well in the final examination, you must be physically fit. Eat healthy Have Good sleep Yoga in your routine

Quick tips Go through NCERT text book Highlight the important points that you can re-read on the day of the examination Try to make notes; It will help you to save time Make flowcharts of reactions Solve sample papers for reasoning problems Write formula to memorize Physical Chemistry Study Organic Chemistry first In exam hall answer questions systematically and don’t mix the sections. Be specific in your answers. Examiner expects you to write the specific information, not how much you know about the subject. Don’t get nervous after having the first look at the question paper. Set aside 15 minutes to revise the answer sheet. It is important to make sure that you haven’t made any mistakes. Try to remain calm in the examination hall and read the questions properly. For long answers, you can prepare one skeleton of the answer, while in short or very short answer questions, be crisp and give straight answer to the problem.

Some tips to score good marks in chemistry If you are good in calculation and formula application part, you can score well in physical chemistry. Prepare a chart of important formulas and practice numerical on each one of them. The theory part should also be revised as well. Some important chapters like Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics and Solutions can be given extra attention. Inorganic chemistry requires lots of learning. It is advisable to read your textbook (e.g.: NCERT). Go through the short notes of various processes, reactions and preparations. Usually, the questions are directly asked from the textbook. You can give last minute focus on named reactions in haloalkenes and haloarenes, distinguishing tests between (a)  Aldehyde-Ketone (b)  Phenols-Carboxylic Acid (c) 1°, 2°, 3° amines (d) 1°,2°,3° alcohols. Practice reasoning questions related to acidic, basic characters, melting and boiling points, comparison of isomeric compounds, mechanism of named reactions e.g., Reimer - Tiemann; Aldol; Kolbe; SN1, SN2. Biomolecules, polymer and chemistry in everyday life, are easy sections to score in and comprise 10 marks. Further, try to solve at least one sample paper weekly, so that you will get idea about the type of questions asked along with time management. Do not be afraid of the subject; by repeated reading from text book and writing the answers, you can surely score better.

Best of luck Why all of you are great for solving problems? you have solutions Best of luck
