Semantic Task e-SENS WP5.4 - Business Life Cycle Telco/Net meeting 22 April 2016 Semantic Task Antonis Stasis, Loukia Demiri, David Mitzman

AGENDA Goals of WP5.4 semantic task: transfer of e-SENS results to (extended) eCertis The eCertis data model: Core Criterion and Core Evidence Vocabulary Next steps of semantic task

WP5.4 Semantic modelling Business Life-cycle semantics: Activity Registration Procedure EC & National Legislation Business and personal Requirements Documents (Evidences of different sorts) Mappings between countries eCertis semantics: eProcurement procedure EC & National Legislation Business and personal Requirements Evidences of different sorts Correspondences between requirements and evidences All semantic modelling based on some/different standards and vocabularies

Evolution of eCertis semantics: Core Criterion and Core Evidence Vocabulary (CCCEV)* A model to support decision-making in the public sector for questions regarding criteria evaluation and satisfaction In particular, for the eProcurement domain and the processes of evaluation and selection of bids for tenders CCCEV extends the eCertis model and increases the degree of formalism in the process description * https://joinup.ec.europa.eu/asset/criterion_evidence_cv/description

CCCEV goals Promote the standardisation of criteria and evidences among attestation and certificate providers, and across different Member States. Allow the use of criteria from common repositories in different economic sectors and PA domains. Enable the automatic response to criteria, lowering the language barrier for cross-border processes and exchanges. Automatic assessment of criteria fulfillment through the analysis of requirements and evidences provided. Increase the transparency of the criteria and requirements, increasing PA efficiency and interoperability and reducing administrative burden. Assisted creation of procedure checklist (What to do …) Automatic or «Assisted»

CCCEV model Criteria Requirements (and Groups) Evidences Legislative framework/Legal basis Relations between these, especially "RequirementResponse" Example – going to see a film at a cinema

Contribute to update CCCEV The next steps Analyse/harmonise the WP5.4 semantics according CCCEV/eCertis target model Validate correspondance between models – i.e., the coverage of eSENS information by CCCEV/eCertis models and procedures Contribute to update CCCEV Timing? Distribution of work?

THANK YOU!
