What Faith Is “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” Hebrews 11:1 NIV

What Faith Is Believing with confidence and conviction Faith is “being sure” - hupostasis (substance, assurance, trust) And “certain of” - elegchos (evidence, proof, conviction) Faith gives all the force of reality to what is believed and leads us to act as if it were so

What Faith Is It pertains to things hoped for and things not seen Confidence in the hope of Eternal Life Conviction that God is and that there is more to life than just what we see – vs 3; Romans 1:18-20

What Faith Looks Like Exemplified in the life of Abel – Hebrews 11:4 As witnessed in his worship – Genesis 4:1-5 “Worship” and “sacrifice” are demonstrations of our faith – Malachi 1:6-14; Romans 12:1-2
