Lesson Objective: To design a range of ideas for an ipad case based on architecture. Draw two initial ideas showing a front and back view. Use tonal colour Add notes explaining the techniques that will be used. Develop one of your designs into a final design and highlight the improvements you have made in your annotation.

Why draw designs? Drawing designs helps us as designers to envisage our product and enable us to develop and improve our designs where necessary. Designers are also required to make drawings to pass on to the manufacturers (the people who will make the product). Designers will also produce sample and models to develop the design and show the manufacturers

Lesson Objective: to design and produce an embroidery sample based on your architecture theme Success Criteria: You will look at your target grade and produce a sample that meets the following criteria A simple design that uses back stitch and another simple stitch. It looks basic An interesting design that shows the use of 3 different stitches. The design has been well thought out. An intricate design that shows creative flair. Thought has been given to the use of colour and how the stitches work with the design.
