Dear all staff of Faculty of Education You’re welcome to presentation of Mathematics Education Department we feel now that our department opened. I wish this year would be the year of success and quality.

The Department of Mathematics Education offers a B. A The Department of Mathematics Education offers a B.A. program in mathematics. The main aim of this department is to train students to be Mathematics Teachers for middle and high schools.

The basic components of the undergraduate program consist of professional courses including methodological and pedagogical approaches to Mathematics Education as well as raising students’ knowledge of the Mathematics Education system.

The Department of Mathematics Education provides courses related to basic mathematical requirement, mathematical methodology, pedagogical formations and organizes practice teaching in selected schools.

What we are planning to improve mathematics students’ math skills? Club activities. Extra class studies. Technical trips. Summer courses. Mathematics courses for secondary or high school students. Lecture to encourage them. Extra Enlish courses if needed.

What we are planning as an Academic Study? Contact with the other universities’ mathematics and Mathematics Education Departments. Organize an international conference with a partner . Present more then 10 presentations about math. Increase our publications number.
