There are very intentional participation with the individual in various contexts both familiar and novel The individual tries a variety of activities Capturing it in a profile – capturing all the contributions a person can make and the conditions to guide the job development process

Asking: What do you want to do? – answers are made up or or what is expected to answer Running a number of “tests, aptitudes, etc.” Having only 1 or 2 experiences or the same type of experience (e.g., retail) Not having the proper supports (technology, instruction, support to employer and individual) Having the experience in a facility-based or segregated setting
