Examining Core Components Game Concepts 2014 Heroes Examining Core Components Generals travel around on the world map with their troops, composed of 100 troops, with 2 different kinds of units (assignable) After one army has been defeated (0 troops remaining), the Generals engage in a duel. Generals can be killed or wounded. After wounding a General, there is a chance to capture that General as a hostage. Generals travel around the world map from point to point. Points remain as “?” Until revealed. Traveling to undiscovered dots reveals what the location is, as long as you meet the requirements. Requirements are certain General’s skills. Traveling to occupied locations allows the player to engage in battles with enemy armies. Players can be ambushed by enemies if they are traveling towards each other, and automatically lose initiative. Talk to Captives and decide their fate, send spies, dispatch treasure hunters, listen to the people Upgrade from Settlements into Castles and Fortresses as you increase in level to hold more Generals and Troops Collect the resources being generated from the different locations in your control. Enlist in the fights at the Arena to engage in one on one Tournaments Hold award ceremonies to level up Generals with the medals that have been won in battle.
