Overview of Vaccine Landscape in Belgium Symposium on vaccines Hotel Pullman, BRUSSELS 9 September 2017 Stephanie Mali

Introduction Collaboration between Biowin, Flanders Vaccine and FAMHP Objective to get a general overview of actors (industry, SME, academics) present in Belgium and active in vaccine research and development activities. Web survey June-July 2017 Enhance visibility of expertise Facilitate networking and collaboration Supporting opportunities I’m glad to have the opportunity to present you the results of a recent mapping exercise , performed in collaboration with Biowin and Flanders vaccine. We wanted to get a general overview of majors industry – sme – academics actors present in Be and active in vaccine fields, we had several objectives: Enhance visibility of Belgium’s expertise on research and development of vaccines Facilitate networking and collaboration Based on challenges reported, identify supporting opportunities To collect data, a web survey was sent in June to Flanders vaccine/Biowin members . We got also support from others organization like Pharma.be / Laurence add the name of organization who disseminate to university, same for Fran?. Survey is still open and we still hope to receive more feedback. Presentation today will focus on global pictures, as we have just received the results.
