What are gangs? Gangs are groups of people that have gathered to promote a negative cause The Bloods is a former gang that is located in Los Angeles, California The gang is widely known for there fights with another gang called the Crips

Who joins gangs? The type of people who usually join gangs are ages 12 to 24 years old Teens and adults that want acceptance and protection Girls and boys join gangs

Why do people join gangs? Teens and adults that want acceptance and protection For group protection and power over others Because of the looks and the respect as being in a gang member Discipline, love, family, and care

How can the gang problem be solved? Create neighborhood watch Teen centers helping most teens with problems that can be solved with out gangs More police on duty through out the public areas
