Documentary Video Dominique Callender- Editor, Director, Producer Department of Entertainment SNEAKERHEADZ Introduction For my culmination project, I put my skills to the test by being the director, producer and editor of a short documentary named “Sneaker Head”. Which showed how the sneaker culture has changed over time, how difficult it has become to obtain these materialistic items, and the stories of the people who collect sneakers. This documentary also shows how reselling sneakers has become one of the biggest trending topic to date. Conclusion The world of collecting and selling sneakers has changed over the years and is forever changing with time. The process of this documentary helped me understand how hard it is to produce, edit and direct a production in a short period of time. My goal of this documentary is to give the audience an understanding of the lifestyle of the sneaker collecting culture. By putting you in the shoes of the “sneakerheads” life. EDITING SOFTWARE:AVID MEDIA COMPSER WHAT I LEARNED Always have a plan A,B and C to back up your other plans. Have a detail plan and the time to execute your production. Always keep a eye on your progress to keep yourself on schedule. A one man production crew is very difficult project to do. Make sure you have the right resources to start and finish your production.
