By the numbers 13.6% Total floorspace in Southport Town Centre was vacant in 2011. 81st Ranking by Venuescore in 2011 showed Southport ranked 81st vs its peak in 2005 when it was ranked 44th. In the past 12 months retail rents dropped by 16.7% and by 41.2% from £85  per sq ft to £50 per sq ft  since 2008. 16.7%
