What is ‘entrepreneurship education’? Creativity Innovation Risk-Taking Education which instills a ‘spirit of enterprise’ in individuals -The private sector cannot ‘own’ entrepreneurship education and neither can our ministries of education or industry or finance. Entrepreneurship education is something that needs both in order to flourish. JA-YE belongs in the space in the middle as a broker between these two worlds. ON the one hand we recruit and train business volunteers and resources while on the other hand we train teachers and work with the authorities in order to have time and space in the curriculum. The result is a pool of teachers promoting entrepreneurship education year after year and a pool of entrepreneurial potential that will create more new businesses later on.

What is EwB™? Enterprise without Borders™ will give students in secondary schools the opportunity to run a joint-venture business from capitalization to liquidation with a partner from other European country.

EwB Joint Ventures Afreetrade is the first multi-national joint-venture company created by 6 EwB student companies from , Italy, Sweden, Portugal, Norway and Finland and African and Indian schools. Afreetrade sells and promotes a selection of products like tablecloths, scarves and several accessories. The majority of the products are handcrafted in Africa under technical supervision of Afreetrade following the trend of the market‘s requirements. The idea of Afreetrade: free and fair trade to create resources in Africa and not to exploit them for the benefits of richer countries.
