Welcome to the 2015 X-Country Awards Presentation Athletes and Parents/Guardians….THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR EFFORTS THIS SEASON!!! By: Coach Knetter & Coach Braun

What did we do to continue developing the program? Demanded this from the coaching staff… Be able to deal with the “WHOLE” person (PIES + M) Emphasis personal improvements Stress togetherness and team!!!! Promote the program (around school and throughout the community) Be a “POSITIVE” role model!!!!!

Goals of the program: **DEVELOP BETTER HUMAN BEINGS** 1. Do the best they can do in everything they do. 2. Develop an appreciation for the sport 3. Develop a good work ethic 4. Learn to work with others in a “POSITIVE MANNER.” 5. Develop a sense of accomplishment. (Something they are proud of)

2015 X-Country Expectations *Every athlete work on their overall fitness and strength….take a month off and start up again *Increase mileage: Boys 300 miles & Girls 250 miles *Enter in two road races this summer *Meet with the team 4x a week….Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights @ 6:00 pm *15 athletes go to running camp @ Luther College
