Mom & Dad My name is LeAndrenetta Shauntel Mackey-Nalls. I was born June 21, 1979 to Mr. Levi Mackey and Sandra Mackey. I was born in Birmingham, Al at Caraway Hospital. My mother is a very hard-working and devoted mother and who resides in Birmingham. My father is a Minister and Bass Player he resides in Little Rock, Arkansas.  

Grandparents I was raised in Birmingham, and educated in Birmingham City Schools. My childhood, in my opinion was awesome! We didn’t have a lot, but my sister and I experienced many things. We traveled to many states with our grandparents, did some modeling, and attended church regularly.

The Spiritual Hi-tones I love Music I developed an interest in music in the 3rd grade and begin playing the Clarinet and Viola. While in high school I was able to learn the saxophone, bass clarinet, baritone, and trombone! I participated in many All City Band Festivals and Marched in The Woodlawn High School Band. I graduated from Woodlawn on May 20, 1997. My interest in music I believe was passed down to me by family. My Uncle is in a gospel group named “The Spiritual HI-Tones”, My father sings and plays the bass, and their brother is a percussionist. The Spiritual Hi-tones

My three blessings On July 31,1999 at the age of 19 I married Jason D. Nalls Sr. From this union we were blessed with three children Jasalyn, Jaidah, and Jason Jr. My children have truly been my motivation in life to do better not only for myself but for them as well. My daughters are both in high school and my son is in his last year of middle school. They are all musically inclined, scholars, and athletic.

Family Family is very important to me and I spend most of my time with them. I enjoy the holidays and other family gatherings the most. I have a large family and as many extended family members as I do biological family. My grandparents are 86 and 89 years young and although my grandfather suffers with dementia they are both healthy and as they say kicking just not too high! Christmas 2015

My first degree I begin working at The Eye Foundation Hospital in 1999 as a file clerk and held many positions including patient account rep until 2003. I joined Baptist Health System in 03 and worked with them as Lead Patient Acct. Rep until 2008 when I joined Community Health System as a Insurance Services Representative. I had a desire to earn a degree after leaving CHS in 2014 and rejoining Baptist Health and begin taking online classes at The University of Phoenix. I earned my Associates in Health Care Administration in 2016 and will graduate on October 16th. My next journey has already begin with Talladega and I couldn’t be more excited about my Bachelor’s in Business. It is my desire to earn my Masters before my Oldest graduates from College. I enforce the importance of education to my children and wanted to earn my degree to motivate them to do the same.
