Our theme this week was Big Red Apples and we did many enjoyable activities related to apples. We read apple stories, sequenced the life cycle of an apple, and we also tasted red, yellow, and green apples and then graphed our favorite. We made a bar graph. We predicted which apple food we would like best and then tasted each apple food. For math we played an apple game where you roll dice and cover an apple tree with apples. We took turns with a partner and the first one to cover their apple tree won. We also worked on fine motor skills using tweezers to pick up red pom-poms and stick apples on an apple tree.
