Technological Developments During Industrial Revolution I am going to talk about some technological developments during Industrial Revolution Zhixin Li 1

Instruction Industrial Revolution had a great impact on the world. Different theme could be applied in the developments. It is necessary for students to learn this period of time. It is interesting. From the industrial revolution, we can not only find out history, but also different themes. They are all very interesting to learn. 2

Different Themes Physic Chemistry History Transportation Agriculture Reading and Writing As I mentioned, not only history included, but also physic, chemistry……can be seen in the industrial revolution 3

Physic Boring machine Planing machine Milling machine Shaping machine They are some developments based on physic theories. These four machines bring a lot of convenience to people. 4

Chemistry Sulphric acid produced by lead chamber process Sodium carbonate produced by Leblanc process These two chemicals were extremly important because they enable the introduction of other inventions. Also, some are based on chemistry. Chemicals are the essential part of lots of developments, because without these two chemicals, most of the developments can not be accomplished. 5

History The first Industrial Revolution (From 1760s-1840s) The Second Industrial Revolution (About 1860-1870) Country influenced: Great Britain Belgium France Germany Sweden United States Japan And the whole industrial revolution is about History. When it happened and Where it happened. 6

Transportation Canal Road Railway Canal network, road network and railway network allowed transportation to be quick and cheap. The development of canal, road and railway network played essential roles in industrial revolution. It greatly reduced the time and money cost on transportation. 7
