CVDs are related to your heart and the blood vessels that a healthy heart is connected to. healthy heart  Your body's circulatory system is a network of numerous arteries and veins that carry blood from and to the heart from and to different parts of the body.  The blood contains oxygen & nutrients alongside various other components that are required for proper functioning of any organ or even heart.

The common cardiovascular diseases are: Angina Heart Attack Pulmonary Stenosis Aneurysm Blood Clots Atherosclerosis

➢ Among these, atherosclerosis and heart attack are most deadly types of CVDs that claim numerous lives every year.  Atherosclerosis is the major cause of strokes, which in majority of the cases leads to death or coma. It basically is the accumulation of white blood cells in the vessels that carry blood from the heart to the brain.  As brain is the most vital and also the most fragile & complicated organ in the body, this sort of damage sometimes is irreparable. ➢ A heart attack is a permanent damage that is caused by blockage in the arteries that carry blood to the heart. ➢ The blockage may be as a result of cholesterol build-up that may stop the blood from reaching the heart and as a result damage to the artery and heart itself.

There are several causes that may trigger a CVD, some of which are: Smoking Unhealthy diet Obesity Inheritance of disease Kidney dysfunction Stress Problems with blood pressure Diabetes Alcohol
