This Gnostic Heresy Led To: Denial of the Incarnation (God in the flesh). Belief in attaining moral perfection. 3) A belief that this enlightenment meant they could no longer sin. A separation from those who did not have the knowledge (enlightenment). Rampant immoral behavior

Reasons To Believe in Christ’s Humanity: 4th Reason: ‘This’ is the Word of Life we have proclaimed – the eternal Word of Life.

What Is Eternal Life? The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. (1 Jn. 1:2)

This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. Jn 17:3. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. Jn 3:16 Whoever has the Son, has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life… Jn 3:36

Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me ‘has’ eternal life… – Jn 5:24 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood ‘has’ eternal life… – Jn 6:54

‘You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, 40 yet you refuse to come to me to have life. Jn 5:39-40 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life, in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23.

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13
