Also some files don’t take up as much space as the other files so when you do save files you are saving a lot of spaces.JPEG is widely used by the web or by any email services but its mainly used for digital photography but other files like GIF works a lot better for pixels.

PNG-PORTABLE NETWORK GRAPHICS – PNG is a lossless bitmap image format that is popular world wide and it has a large developed to deal with some of the shortcomings of an GIF format and it allows storage of images with a lot greater colour depth. GIF-GRAPHICS INTERCHARGE FORMAT – GIF format was developed in the 1987 so it would replace the earlier RLE which was only black and white, nowadays GIF is now widely used on the world wide web (www) which is still used for images and for animations. JPEG- JOINT PHOTOGRAPHIC EXPERTS GROUP – JGEP is a method that is standard for compressing photographic images, JPEG/JFIF is mostly used for storing any images from the world wide web but this is not suited for any line drawings pr any other textual or iconic graphics. JPEG has been established standard of plenty of software available which is including free software.
