The main aim of our work is to investigate the writer's life, full of secrets and mysteries and expose some myths about his most famous character, the detective Sherlock Holmes.

To achieve this goal we have solved the following tasks: 1. Get acquainted with the most important pages in the biography of the writer sir Arthur Conan Doyle 2.
