English 11 – Period 7 – Mon, October 31 Rhetorical Devices: Task #2: Choose ONE speech on which to focus; request paper copy and begin to annotate for rhetorical appeals and devices (see directions) First – Ethos/Pathos/Logos (color code & identify specific text) Then – Specific rhetorical devices (minimum of 5 different ones) – annotate and pull out specific quotes of text
