- EATON power infrastructure (UPS + electrical infrastructure) MODULAR DATA CENTER Container Park with: - EATON power infrastructure (UPS + electrical infrastructure) - AST Containers and Modular Natural Free Cooling MNFC® technology 2 2

About THOR: MODULAR DATA CENTER - Based in Reyjkavik (Iceland). - Hosting and Cloud Storage provider 100% Carbon Neutral Data Center (all power generation is geothermal and hydro). Maximum resiliency: Tier 3 18 x IT Container 40´ with 280 racks in total and 4MW IT power. Natural Free Cooling. Ultra low TCO: due to low PUE and very cheap kw/h (€ 0,03), about 70% less than in continental Europe. Redundant Fiber Optic link to continental Europe with 50ms latency. 3 3

Electrical consumption in Data Centers IT systems 38%-63% Air Conditioning 23%-54% UPSes 6%-13% Lighting 1%-2% Two areas to focus on savings Energy costs grow between 10% to 25% annually 4

The challenge of Free Cooling in Iceland MODULAR DATA CENTER The challenge of Free Cooling in Iceland Ideal location for Free Cooling: temp year round does not exceeds 24ºC. However, very high content of sulphur in the ambience. A study by IBM showed that direct air free cooling (even with EPA filter) damaged processors after 6 months. Direct air intake in Iceland is not possible. An alternative technology must be used. 5 5

Natural Free Cooling… not only in Iceland MODULAR DATA CENTER Natural Free Cooling… not only in Iceland MNFC can provide Free Cooling up to 24ºC. 89% of hours in Madrid are below 24ºC (we can achieve PUE 1,11). With std. Chiller Free Cooling (CW 7ºC/12ºC) we can only use 25% of the year-hours! Savings in a 500KW IT load Data Center can be of up to € 250k / year! ROI is around 18 months! The improvement is extraordinary even in non-nordic locations! 6 6
