computing room update started discussion with IT about technical specification for power/cooling/racks/… first draft of technical specification ongoing discution on technical options power distribution (blindo barra vs underfloor) cabling (power+network) tray (inside racks and …) water pipes path ~120KW computing power 150KVA UPS

computing room update ~16-20 racks “half filled” ~10KW per rack to avoid “precision”/expensive cooling most likely “cooling back door” (IT standard @ CERN) ~250-350 core per rack extimate maximum rack weight for raised floor includind cooling door network cabling study to connect all cores modular solution vs “giant switch”
