Transportation Shuttle service is available around all CERN sites and to/from airport (only shift service is 24/7) https://espace.cern.ch/info-RegularShuttleService/default.aspx New airport timetable proposed last June. Feedback requested on whether to keep schedule as it is or adopt new schedule. (better meshing with Bus Y times?) My own experience from taking the shift shuttle (and observing others) and using the airport shuttle is that they are reliable Bicycle fleet increased. Day Care (“crèche”) Current status Meyrin crèche (Champs-Fréchets) already has its 20 CERN spots filled… A St. Genis crèche is being set up, 1400 euro/month Some investigation by CERN management on additional crèche possibilities CERN users require greater flexibility than for the normal clientele of a crèche. Users cannot commit for 12 months and start in September, for example. CERN is currently working on the requirements for a specification: a minimum of 3 months with 10% drop-in is being considered.
