Intro Brands increasingly leveraging social media to attract followers and customers. Services like Facebook allow brands to create pages, which can then be ‘Liked’ by followers. Brands are then able to post updates on the page and such updates show up on followers’ news feed. Limited targeting is available through sponsored posts. Currently that is how far brands can go, as far as communicating and engaging with their social media followers is concerned.

Intro… How would it be if brands were able to profile and engage their followers in a targeted way? Say, being able to send a welcome message only to new followers and offer them discounted service as a customer retention strategy! Or being able to reach out only to dormant followers and ping them with a ‘we have missed you’ note? Or even reach out to only active followers offering some rewards for keeping the fire burning?

Intro… Such possibilities could make brands’ presence in social media more beneficial and more effective, business wise

Intro… E.g. Coca Cola has over 73 million followers on Facebook. The brand can only send generalized posts to followers. Limited targeting through Promoted Stories (By location, & By Language). Twitter? Same situation. Limited targeting through Targeted Promoted Tweets (location, device and platform). As a result, less business value derived from such impressive follower numbers.

The Problem There is lack of means for brands to comprehensively profile and segment all their social media followers, for targeted and effective engagement.

Our Solution Utilize algorithms to comprehensively profile and segment brand followers for effective targeting and deeper engagement. Mobbo profiles, then ranks and organizes followers of a brand into categories such as Active Followers, New Followers, Average Followers, and Dormant Followers. Mobbo aspires to compile a consolidated ‘Address Book’ of all followers of a particular brand across leading social media platforms, such that the brand can manage and engage all its followers from a single point.
